Terms of Use
Last updated: October 23, 2026
These terms cover your use of SproutRow.com. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
What SproutRow offers
General information about growing vegetables, herbs and fruit at home, plus free tools: the Plot Planner, a planting calendar, a companion checker, quizzes and a plot page. It is meant for personal, non-commercial use.
Gardening information is general
Planting dates on SproutRow come from average frost dates by zone or region. Real frost dates vary by year and by street, and soil, pests and weather differ everywhere. We check our numbers against published sources but cannot promise they are complete, current or right for your garden. For local timing, ask your county extension office.
No promised harvest
Fit scores, planting statuses, companion notes and quiz results come from simple rules described on How SproutRow works. They are suggestions. We are not responsible for crop losses, failed seeds or garden costs that follow from using them.
Pets, people and plants
Pet safety labels are a summary of public lists, not veterinary advice. Nothing on the site is medical or nutrition advice either. If a person or an animal may have eaten something harmful, contact a doctor, a vet or a poison control center right away.
Our content
The writing, data, scores, timelines, design and code on SproutRow belong to us or are used with permission. You are welcome to link to any page and quote short parts with credit. Copying whole pages, republishing crop profiles or scraping the site for another product needs our written permission first.
Fair use of the site
Please do not try to break into, overload or disrupt the site, and do not use it for anything unlawful. Heavy automated access that slows the site for others is not allowed.
Other websites and ads
Crop pages link to outside sources, and the site may show ads in the future. Those sites and ads are run by others, and we are not responsible for what they say or do.
Limits of liability
SproutRow is provided as it is, without warranties. As far as the law allows, SproutRow and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site. These terms do not take away consumer rights that the law says cannot be waived.
Changes and governing law
We may revise these terms and will update the date above when we do. The laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, govern these terms. Questions go to contact@sproutrow.com.
